After the Paris Attacks

Hosted by the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Munk School of Global Affairs, this one-day conference examines the responses in Canada, Europe and around the world to the violent attacks in Paris that took place in January. The final panel of the day featured former Senator Hugh Segal Chair (Chair, Master of Massey College and former Chief of Staff to PM Brian Mulroney), Lisa Austin (University of Toronto Faculty of Law), Ron Deibert (Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto) and Ron Levi (Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto) the role of oversight and information sharing in the context of the government's new anti-terrorism legislation.
