A conference is held that examines changes to Canada’s broadcasting and telecommunications legislation. In the seventh session of the conference Daniel Paré (University of Ottawa), Bram Abramson (Chief Legal & Regulatory Officer, Teksavvy), Mark Bourrie (Carleton University), Geoff White (Public Interest Advocacy Centre) and Dwayne Winseck (Carleton University) discuss whether Parliament should require the CRTC to regulate ‘too-big-to-fail’ media companies in the public interest.
