Public Record - Public Forum on Electoral Reform

A public forum on the Canadian electoral reform is held at McGill University in Montreal. Maryam Monsef, Minister of Democratic Institutions, delivers opening remarks.
The forum takes the form of a debate between four electoral systems, with each system being argued by a political scientist. The debaters at the forum are Peter Loewen (University of Toronto), Marc André Bodet (Université Laval), Laura Stephenson (University of Western Ontario) and Sven-Oliver Proksch (McGill University). André Blais (McGill University) frames the debate and presents the different voting systems. (October 20, 2016)
