Mark Lowenthal (president of the Intelligence and Security Academy) delivers a keynote address at the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies (CASIS) annual conference, Ottawa, Ont., October 28, 2006.

Mr. Lowenthal discusses lessons learned in the United States intelligence community after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the U.S., and the subsequent U.S. military mission in Iraq. After his speech, Mr. Lowenthal fields questions from audience members. Greg Fyffe (executive director for international assessment staff at the Privy Council Office) makes opening remarks.
