Annual conference hosted by the Carleton University School of Public Policy and Administration, Ottawa, Ont., November 2, 2006.

This November 2nd session features a panel discussion on interpretations of government accountability. The panellists are Heather Williams (lawyer at Cavanaugh Williams), Gilles Paquet (professor emeritus at the University of Ottawa School of Law), Vic Toews (Minister of Justice), Pierre Poilievre (parliamentary secretary to the president of the Treasury Board).

Honorary conference chair Richard Pound (McGill University chancellor) makes opening remarks. Rob Walsh (law clerk and parliamentary counsel of the House of Commons) moderates and makes closing remarks.
