The speakers are John Reid (former information commissioner of Canada), Réal Ménard (Bloc Québécois MP), Elizabeth Judge (assistant professor of law at the University of Ottawa), Daniel Poulin (professor of law at the University of Montreal), Richard Dearden (Gowling Lafleur Henderson, LLP), Gabor Halmai (Department of Constitutional Law and Political Science at Széchenyi University in Györ, Hungary), and Marc-Aurèle Racicot (Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta).

Conference chair Frances Abel makes opening remarks and moderates.
