Public Record - 2007 Health Council of Canada Annual Report


Representatives from the Health Council of Canada present conclusions from the council’s third annual report entitled “Health Care Renewal in Canada: Measuring Up?” Toronto, Ont., February 1, 2007.

Dr. Jeanne Besner (interim chair, Health Council of Canada) delivers the report’s findings, which include information about standardized data collection and reporting, pharmaceuticals management, hospital wait times, home care, and Aboriginal health issues.

Dr. Ian Bowmer (vice chair, Health Council of Canada) makes opening remarks. After speaking, Dr. Besner and Dr. Bowmer answer questions from audience members.
