Lieutenant Governor Herménégilde Chiasson opens the first session of the 56th Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, Fredericton, N.B., February 6, 2007.

Mr. Chiasson outlines New Brunswick’s provincial legislative agenda, which includes improving financial assistance for post secondary students, establishing the Northern New Brunswick Initiative, introducing a climate change action plan, and developing a stronger relationship with Aboriginal communities.
