Michelle DiEmanuele (a member of the Waterfront Task Force of the Toronto Board of Trade) provides an overview of conclusions reached at the summit’s various plenary sessions.

David Crombie (the president and CEO of the Canadian Urban Institute) introduces the day’s speakers, including Lisa Rochon (a journalist with the Globe and Mail), who discusses the urban civil society; and Phillip Abrahams (the director of social housing at the Shelter, Support and Housing Administration of the City of Toronto), who examines the city’s financial capacity to meet the needs of its citizens.
