Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada (the Romanow Commission) policy dialogue on the state of homecare, Windsor, Ont., May 16, 2002. Panellists discuss the development and implementation of a national homecare strategy, including the issues of funding, universal access, drug costs, and technology infrastructure.

Participants include Karen Parent (a professor at Queen’s University), Carol Derbyshire (the executive director of the Hospice of Windsor), Dr. Jean Wittenberg (a member of the Psychiatry Program at the Hospital for Sick Children), Cheri Hernandez (an associate professor at the University of Windsor), Nadine Henningsen (the executive director of the Canadian Homecare Association), and Ambrose Hearne (the CEO of the Victoria Order of Nurses). Durhane Wong-Rieger (the president of the Anemia Institute for Research and Education) moderates the discussion.
