The committee continues its study of Bill C-11. Witnesses include Stephen W. Green and Ben Trister (Canadian Bar Association, Ontario branch); Robin Seligman, Mario Calla, and Michael Schelew (Canadians for Just Immigration Policy); Ezat Mossallanejad (a policy analyst for the Canadian Centre for Victims of Torture); Cynthia Pay (the vice-president of the Chinese Canadian National Council); and Gloria Fung (a member of the National Executive of the Chinese Canadian National Council).

Committee members in attendance include chair Joe Fontana (Liberal MP for London North Centre), Inky Mark (Canadian Alliance MP for Dauphin–Swan River), John McCallum (Liberal MP for Markham), Madeleine Dalphond-Guiral (Bloc Québécois MP for Laval Centre), Anita Neville (Liberal MP for Winnipeg South Centre), Judy Wasylycia-Leis (NDP MP for Winnipeg North Centre), and Joseph Volpe (Liberal MP for Eglinton–Lawrence).
