Proceedings of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Public Accounts, March 29, 2004. Committee members continue their consideration of the Auditor General of Canada’s report on government sponsorship, advertising, and public opinion research. The committee hears testimony from Richard Neville, a former assistant deputy minister in the Department of Public Works and Government Services.

Mr. Neville makes an opening statement and is questioned by committee members Peter MacKay (Conservative MP for Pictou–Antigonish–Guysborough, N.S.), Odina Desrochers (Bloc Québécois MP for Lotbinière–L’Érable), Diane Ablonczy (Conservative MP for Calgary–Nose Hill, Alta.), Marlene Jennings (Liberal MP for Notre-Dame-de-Grâce–Lachine, Que.), Judy Wasylycia-Leis (NDP MP for Winnipeg North Centre, Man.), and Alan Tonks (Liberal MP for York South–Weston, Ont.).
