The National Assembly of Quebec holds a general meeting to discuss Bill n° 9 (An Act respecting the consultation of citizens with respect to territorial reorganization of certain municipalities), Quebec City, Que., September 11, 2003.

Appearing before the commission are Luis Miranda (the president of Arrondissement Anjou), Edward Janiszewski (the president of Arrondissement Dollard-des-Ormeaux/Roxboro), and Peter Romaniuk (the co-coordinator for Citoyen(ne)s pour le droit de défusionner).

Other participants include Jean-Marc Fournier (Minister of Municipal Affairs), Fatima Houda-Pepin (the chair of the committee on Agriculture, Fisheries and Food), and Nicole Léger (deputy whip for the Official Opposition).
