Leonard Minsky (National Coalition for Universities in the Public Interest) and David Noble (a professor at York University) speak about the importance of keeping Canadian universities independent from corporate interests at “The Scholar and the State,” a conference organized by the Graduate Students’ Association at the University of Ottawa on February 20, 2004. In their remarks, Mr. Minsky and Mr. Noble denounce the corporatization of Canadian universities.
