Proceedings of the Teachers Institute conference, Ottawa, Ontario, November 7, 2002. Teachers from across the country meet to enhance their knowledge of the parliamentary system. Several members of Parliament discuss parliamentary issues, share their perspectives on parliamentary democracy, and answer questions from the audience. Participating MPs include Deborah Grey (Canadian Alliance MP for Edmonton North), Benoît Sauvageau (Bloc Québécois MP for Repentigny), Judy Wasylycia-Leis (NDP MP for Winnipeg North Centre), and John Herron (Progressive Conservative MP for Fundy–Royal).
