Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada (the Romanow Commission) open public hearings, Vancouver, B.C., March 12, 2002.

The Commission first hears presentations from Randy Wong and Shelly Page, who discuss traditional Chinese medicine. The Commission also hears presentations from Robert Evans (from the University of British Columbia Centre for Health Services and Policy Research), Vibeke Hlady (speaking as an individual), Debra McPherson (the president of the B.C. Nurses Union), and Fred Muzin (the president of the Hospital Employees’ Union).
