Proceedings of the annual North-South Institute (NSI) Conference on Global Development, Ottawa, Ont., June 23, 1994. The 1994 conference is held in honour of development economist Gerald Helleiner and also marks the 50th anniversary of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

This conference session features a panel discussion on various aspects of global development.
