The McGill Institute for the Study of Canada hosts its annual conference addressing public policy concerns, Montreal, Que., February 14–15, 2003. This year’s conference focuses on the question “Who Controls Canada’s Media?”

In this session on February 14th, a panel of speakers explore the conference theme, including Phyllis Yaffe (the CEO of the broadcast group at Alliance Atlantis), Mireille Silcoff (the senior editor of the Saturday Post at the National Post), Grant McCracken (a visiting scholar of art history and communications at McGill University), and Wayne Grigsby (a writer and producer from Big Motion Pictures Limited). After speaking, panellists field questions from audience members.
