CBC reporter Julie Van Dusen presents awards to a number of recipients, including Sue McGarvie (a radio show host), Linda Hughes (the president and publisher of the Edmonton Journal), Lillyan Goldstein (the owner and CEO of Wallace Studios), Dawn Hunt (the vice-president of government relations for Rogers Wireless Communications), Sandra MacDonald (the president of the Canadian Television Fund), and Pamela Wallin (a broadcaster and journalist).
