The Trudeau Foundation hosts its first Pierre Elliott Trudeau Public Policy Conference, Montreal, Que., October 14–16, 2004.

In this October 16th session, entitled “Sharing Knowledge Across Cultural Boundaries and Security Barriers,” scholars Caroline Allard, Patti-Ann La Boucane-Benson, and Robert Nichols discuss a variety of initiatives related to the dissemination of knowledge and the teaching of Aboriginal history. Following the speeches, Trudeau Foundation president Stephen Toote moderates a question-and-answer session.
