The Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) hosts its 10th annual symposium in Kingston, Ont., March 11–12, 2004. This year’s theme is “The Aftermath of War.”

In the March 12th closing session, Sami Aoun, a professor at the University of Sherbrooke, discusses the aftermath of the war in Iraq, including rebuilding efforts, attempts to define a national identity in the post-Saddam era, and the acceptance of a democratic model of government.
