Reboot Communications hosts its annual public safety, technology, and counter-terrorism conference, Ottawa, Ont., April 26–27, 2004.

In this April 26th session, panellists discuss elements of public safety, including cross-border collaboration, threat-detection technologies, and response and recovery strategies. Participants include Bob Morine (the vice-president of IBM Canada), Giuliano Zaccardelli (the commissioner of the RCMP), John Pistole (the executive assistant director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)), and Phillip Webb (the CEO of the U.K. Police Information Technology Organisation). Tom Gede (the executive director of the United States Conference of Western Attorneys General) introduces the day’s speakers. Following the presentations, panellists take questions from audience members.
