The Canadian Medical Association holds its annual forum on Canadian health-care in Toronto, Ont., August 15–18, 2004.

In this strategic session on August 18th, delegates vote on motions concerning proposed improvements to the Canadian health-care system. The session is moderated by Dr. Margaret Kirwan (deputy speaker, Canadian Medical Association) and Dr. Marquis Fortin (speaker, Canadian Medical Association).

Following this, CMA president Sunil Patel introduces the incoming president of the CMA for 2004–2005, Dr. Albert Schumacher. Mr. Schumacher addresses audience members.

Later, Mr. Patel introduces former CMA president Dr. Allon Reddoch, who addresses the meeting.
