Opposition leader Thomas Mulcair asks about Canada’s foreign policy priorities in light of escalating violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The government faces a barrage of questions regarding rumoured foreign investment discussions with Chinese oil company CNOOC. Government members are also questioned at length about allegations of electoral fraud in the 2011 federal election and about funding for Canada’s justice system.
