Government members face a series of questions about issues affecting Aboriginal communities, including environmental protection for Aboriginal territories and support for a private member’s bill concerning the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People. There are also a number of inquiries about alleged ethics violations, including government interference in the operation of the CRTC.
