Paul Calandra, the parliamentary secretary to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, faces an onslaught of questions about alleged interference by Conservative Senator Irving Gerstein in a Deloitte audit of Senate expense claims. Defence Minister Rob Nicholson is asked about the role of Canada’s Communications Security Establishment (CSEC) in spying carried out by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) at the 2010 G20 summit in Toronto, Ont. Mr. Nicholson also faces questions about the government’s support for members of the Canadian armed forces in light of a number of recent suicides.
