The government faces an onslaught of questioning about its treatment of veterans in light of the closure of several veterans’ services centres. Defence Minister Rob Nicholson responds to inquiries about the alleged tracking of private communications at a Canadian airport by CSEC (the Communications Security Establishment). The allegations, first revealed in a CBC News report, are based on documents obtained by American whistleblower Edward Snowden.
