Jason Kenney (Minister of Employment and Social Development) faces questions about the validity of recent labour market statistics cited by the government. Pierre Poilievre (the minister of state for democratic reform) responds to allegations made by former chief electoral officer Harry Neufeld about Bill C-23, the Fair Elections Act. Mr. Neufeld claims that the government is misinterpreting his recommendations for improvements to Canada’s electoral system.

Other topics of debate include cuts to the Building Canada infrastructure fund and continued delays in shipments of grain from western provinces.
