The government faces questions about alleged abuses of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and about alleged information sharing between telecom companies and the RCMP. Bernard Valcourt (Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development) is asked about cases of missing and murdered Aboriginal women and about Bill C-33 (the First Nations Control of First Nations Education Act). Other topics of debate include provisions in Bill C-23 (the Fair Elections Act) and the denial of Marc Nadon’s appointment to the Supreme Court.
