Question Period
May 26, 2014
Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Justice Minister Peter MacKay once again face questions concerning the government’s unsuccessful attempt to appoint Justice Marc Nadon to the Supreme Court of Canada. This renewed questioning comes after the publication of a Globe and Mail report containing details of the appointment process. The government is also asked about changes to the temporary foreign workers program and about the denial of visas to Ugandan participants in the June 2014 WorldPride Human Rights Conference in Toronto.
