Responding to questions from Libby Davies (deputy leader of the NDP), Kevin Sorenson (Minister of State for Finance) reaffirms the government’s plan to allow income splitting on tax returns. The government also faces inquiries about the proposed purchase of F-35 fighter jets, the state of the economy, action to prevent climate change, changes to rules concerning temporary foreign workers, and the constitutionality of changes to the Citizenship Act contained in Bill C-24.
