The government faces questions about proposed new police powers to combat terrorism, with inquiries focusing on provisions for the protection of civil liberties. The government is also asked about the monitoring of 93 Canadians named on a terrorism watch list, measures contained in the government’s budget implementation bill, budget cuts and layoffs at CBC/Radio-Canada, and preparations in Canada for potential cases of Ebola virus.
