Following the publication of a letter signed by four former Canadian prime ministers calling for better civilian oversight of CSIS, Peter MacKay (Minister of Justice) faces renewed questions about the proposed expansion of CSIS’s mandate with Bill C-51, the Anti-terrorism Act. Roxanne James (Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness) is asked about reports that the RCMP has not spent money budgeted for investigations into child predators.
