Foreign Affairs Minister Stéphane Dion condemns ISIS atrocities against Yazidis as an act of genocide after a UN report was released classifying the actions of the militant group as such. The Opposition has been persistently petitioning the government to address the issue and classify the acts as genocidal. Dion is also asked whether the government will condemn broader ISIS actions as well and whether Canada will increase its combat mission against the group. Later, Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Minister John McCallum is asked about speeding up the asylum application process for Yazidis seeking refuge in Canada. Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Raybould answers questions about the constitutionality of Bill C-14, the assisted dying legislation. Finance Minister Bill Morneau is asked about Canada Pension Plan premium increases. Veterans Affairs Minister Kent Hehr responds to concerns about the provision of long-term care to veterans.
