Revue Politique

October 31, 2017

Words such as frame-up and intimidation were flung around in Quebec National Assembly today as MNA Guy Ouellette commented on his last week’s arrest by the province’s anti-corruption unit (UPAC).

In a very rare occurrence, National Assembly president Jacques Chagnon addressed the legislature himself, condemning the recent events.

Revue Politique will carry the Quebec speeches.

In Ottawa where ethics remains the main topic, Pierre Donais welcomes the following MPs to discuss this issue: Joël Lightbound (Liberal Party), Gérard Deltell (Conservative Party), Brigitte Sansoucy (NDP), and Gabriel Ste-Marie (Bloc Québécois).

Canada’s Correctional Investigator Ivan Zinger expounds on his Annual Report’s main recommendations.
