In his heartfelt apology in the House of Commons to the LGBTQ2 community for decades of injustice, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a $145-million package as compensation and as a way to promote equality. We hear reaction from Svend Robinson, an openly gay former NDP MP who was a member of the committee advising the government about this file.
