NDP MP Robert Aubin and NDP house leader Thomas Mulcair spoke to reporters about the NPD's bill to extend French language rights to employees in Quebec who work in industries under federal jurisdiction. Mulcair also fielded questions about his leadership bid, which he is expected to announce next week.

Bloc Québécois MP André Bellavance reacted to the NDP`s language rights bill and also discussed his party's leadership race.

Liberal intergovernmental affairs critic Stéphane Dion responded to questions about Senate reform, seat distribution in the House of Commons and the NDP`s language rights bill.
