Interim NDP leader Nycole Turmel spoke about the Keystone pipeline delay and Canada’s involvement in the Asia-Pacific free trade agreement. She also discussed recent polls relating to her party’s leadership race. Liberal Leader Bob Rae responded to questions about the Keystone pipeline, the CBC’s disagreement with the Information Commissioner, and Canada-U.S. relations. NDP Transport critic Olivia Chow spoke about her proposed bill which calls for trucks to have mandatory side guards to protect cyclists and pedestrians. The bill was introduced in memory of Jenna Morrison, a 38-year-old mother who was killed in Toronto last week while cycling.
