Industry Minister Christian Paradis briefly spoke to reporters about Old Age Security changes.

Treasury Board President Tony Clement responded to questions about "March Madness" spending, in which some government departments indulge in a spending spree as the end of the fiscal year approaches. Clement has sent a warning letter prohibiting the practice.

NDP finance critic Peter Julian and interim Liberal leader Bob Rae discussed the impact of possible Old Age Security changes for provinces.

NDP citizenship critic Don Davies spoke to reporters about a televised citizenship reaffirmation ceremony that was staged by the office of Immigration Minister Jason Kenney and included six federal bureaucrats who posed as new Canadians. The ceremony was televised last fall on the Sun News Network.

NDP deputy justice critic Françoise Boivin spoke to reporters about death penalty comments made by Conservative Senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu and about the possibility of the abortion debate being re-opened in Canada.
