Government House leader Peter Van Loan and Conservative MPs Rob Anders, John Carmichael and John Williamson spoke to reporters about the new online surveillance bill.

NDP privacy and digital issues critic Charlie Angus, Liberal House leader Marc Garneau and Bloc Québécois public safety critic Maria Mourani also discussed online surveillance.

Liberal MP Lise St-Denis spoke to reporters about the harassment campaign that the NDP has allegedly launched against her since her defection to the Liberal Party.

Her former New Democrat colleague Robert Aubin and Liberal House leader Marc Garneau commented on the harassment.

Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae and Garneau discussed their party's proposal to limit the discussion of committee business in-camera. The opposition has criticized the Conservative government's attempts to hold more in-camera meetings.
