NDP immigration critic Don Davies, Liberal deputy leader Ralph Goodale, Liberal House leader Marc Garneau, and Bloc Québécois MP Jean-François Fortin reacted to the government's new refugee bill, which targets bogus refugee claims.

Veterans Affairs Minister Stephen Blaney, NDP deputy justice critic Françoise Boivin, and Bloc Québécois MP Jean-François Fortin spoke to reporters about the end of the long-gun registry. MPs voted last night 159-130 in favour of dismantling the registry. Bill C-19 now heads to the Senate, where the Conservatives also have a majority.
