Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae spoke to reporters about the robocalls controversy that dominated Parliament Hill. Voters in at least 30 ridings received fraudulent and misleading automated phone calls during the 2011 federal election. Rae also responded to questions about the Liberals' involvement with "Vikileaks", the Twitter campaign that targeted Public Safety Minister Vic Toews. Rae had revealed today in the House of Commons that a Liberal research staffer was responsible for the online campaign against the minister. NDP justice critic Jack Harris also commented on Vikileaks and robocalls. Interim NDP leader Nycole Turmel, NDP ethics critic Charlie Angus, and Bloc Québécois MP André Bellavance discussed robocalls and voter suppression tactics.
