Interim NDP leader Nycole Turmel spoke to reporters about her accomplishments and challenges during her time as leader. New Democrats will choose a new party leader at their convention next week.

Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae commented on the government’s back-to-work legislation for Air Canada, Nycole Turmel’s time as NDP leader, and the F-35 fighter jet deal.

NDP deputy military procurement critic Matthew Kellway discussed the possibility of Canada backing out of its F-35 deal.

Conservative MP Stephen Woodworth responded to questions about his motion to create a special committee that will study the definition of a “human being”. The private member’s motion will get at least one hour of debate in the House of Commons in April.
