Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae and NDP deputy finance critic Robert Chisholm commented on the NDP’s decision not to allow the Liberals any time to respond in the House of Commons on the first day of debate on the federal budget.

NDP official languages critic Yvon Godin and interim Liberal leader Bob Rae responded to questions about the resignation of Angelo Persichilli as Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s director of communications after less than a year on the job. The appointment had been criticized due to Persichilli’s inability to speak French.
