NDP finance critic Peter Julian spoke to reporters about the revelations by Auditor General Michael Ferguson that the Stephen Harper’s cabinet would have known about the estimnated $25-billion cost to purchase F-35 fighter jets and about the latest job numbers.

Interim Liberal leader Bob Rae also commented on the cost revelations, his question of privilege regarding the government’s responses to the auditor general’s report, and the end of the long-gun registry.

New Democrat MPs Christine Moore and Matthew Kellway discussed the continuing F-35 controversy.

NDP Treasury Board critic Alexandre Boulerice responded to questions about the personal use of a government credit card by minister Christian Paradis’ former director of communications.
