NDP Foreign Affairs critic Paul Dewar and Liberal MP Stéphane Dion commented on travel expenses for MPs and the Dalai Lama’s trip to Ottawa.

Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird spoke briefly to reporters while wearing a New York Rangers jersey, the result of losing a hockey wager with his U.S. counterpart Hillary Clinton. The Rangers defeated the Ottawa Senators last night to advance to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

NDP Finance critic Peggy Nash, Liberal MPs Kirsty Duncan and Stéphane Dion, and Green Party leader Elizabeth May discussed their concerns with the omnibus budget implementation bill, which was tabled yesterday and contains sweeping policy changes.
