NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair and interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae discussed the comments made by the leader of the Official Opposition on oil sands development, the unannounced appearance by three ministers today at the sub-committee looking at the environmental provisions in the budget bill, and the controversy surrounding a sex exhibit at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa. NDP MP Andrew Cash and Bloc Québécois MP Jean-François Fortin spoke to reporters more at length about the exhibit, which aims to educate younger teenagers. Heritage Minister James Moore opposes the exhibit and is urging the public to voice its complaints.
