NDP deputy Finance critic Guy Caron commented on the new duty-free limits that go into effect today and their impact on the Canadian economy.

NDP Finance critic Peggy Nash and Liberal MP John McKay spoke to reporters about the closure of the GM plant in Oshawa, Ontario. The auto manufacturer announced today that it will shut down the factory in June 2013.

Liberal International Cooperation critic Mark Eyking discussed the new questions that are being raised about the spending habits of International Cooperation Minister Bev Oda.

Conservative MP Russ Hiebert, NDP MP Wayne Marston and Liberal MP Irwin Cotler spoke with reporters about the human rights situation in Burma. The MPs are all members of the House of Commons Sub-committee on International Human Rights.
