NDP House Leader Nathan Cullen, NDP Finance critic Peggy Nash and NDP deputy Finance critic Guy Caron discussed the party's next steps regarding the Conservative government's budget bill.

Interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae also spoke with reporters about his party's next parliamentary moves on the bill.

Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver commented on his cross-country campaign yesterday to promote the government's plan for responsible resource development. Nine other cabinet ministers participated in separate events.

Treasury Board President Tony Clement, Rae and NDP critics Charlie Angus and Alexandre Boulerice discussed the amount that was reportedly spent on car services for three ministers during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, in 2011.
