NDP House Leader Nathan Cullen spoke to reporters about the voting marathon on opposition amendments to the budget bill. He also commented on the government's refusal to disclose requested budget information to Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page.

Interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae also discussed Bill C-38, as well as the Conservative government's decision not to release latest F-35 cost figures until they have been independently verified.

NDP Military Procurement critic Matthew Kellway also responded to questions about costs for the F-35s.

NDP U.S.–Canada Border critic Brian Masse commented on the apparent agreement reached by Canada and Michigan to build a second bridge between Windsor and Detroit.
